Pilot Perils

During this time we worked on Excalisoft’s first mobile game release: Pilot Perils! My role was everything art-related: from concept art to leveldressing, animation and UI design. Bryan L. Almeda set the initial style for the game.

We worked with our in-house editor so everything art and design needed was built on the spot. Challenging, but fun!

Concept art

For this project I concepted a wide range of things we needed. From enemies to obstacles and color palettes to worlds.

Asset design

In case of assets, lots of them already existed since they were created by the previous artist who worked on the project. Most of the assets I made were part of the second world: the Crystal Caves.

UI

For the UI I took existing UI elements and elaborated on them to create entire screens. Together with the designer we discussed the UX and created wireframes. Animated in Spine.

Promotional work

For marketing purposes I created work ranging from promotional posters to app icons and website design.
